Services Overview

The CRID is a non-profit organization that seeks to increase the competitiveness of SMEs by promoting and demonstrating the value of research, innovation and productivity. With it’s large network of strategic partnerships, including academics, industry experts, and financial partners, the CRID is able to help manufacturers identify their challenges and deliver a wide range of services that will assist them in achieving their business goals.

Productivity Improvement

For most organizations, considerable improvements in productivity are achievable with little to no investment by systematically identifying, targeting, and eliminating various forms of waste. The CRID Productivity Improvement & Knowledge Transfer Initiative is well suited for organizations that are committed to implementing productivity improvement tools and developing continuous improvement programs.

Advanced Manufacturing

Introducing new technology in a process has the potential to increase quality, lower costs, and reduce lead times. In order to maximise benefit, it is essential that careful thought is given to the selection and implementation of the appropriate technology. The CRID Advanced Manufacturing Initiative ensures that organizations make the right investment and are well prepared for the resulting change.

Mentorship

In order to remain competitive, organizations must strive to improve their products and services, innovate, and become more efficient. Meanwhile, navigating the environment of rapid technological change can be challenging. Mentorship from the CRID network of experienced engineers and industry experts can steer organizations in the right direction strategically and prepare them for growth.

About Us

In 2015, a group of people interested in economic development set up the Center for Research, Innovation and Development of Dieppe. This center was created with the view that innovation and creativity are the basis for improving competitiveness in companies. The preferred approach is to support entrepreneurs by offering them a diagnostic analysis of their operations and procedures. The goal is to create a culture of innovation that will be sustainable within the company once the intervention is complete.
